My dvdrom copies data extremely slowly just after i changed my motherboard from DG33BU to DG35EC .Previously its speed was excellent,but after changing the motherboard it speed dramatically decreased and now it copies a 1Gb file in about 25 minutes.
I used Windows XP SP 1 .then 2 but no change.
Ram is 1 GBddr 2 667mhz which is enough.
could be several things.. did you reinstall? if not it could be using the old boards drivers. Check the cable. Check the disc for scratches or maybe its copy written?
