I have a dvd-r that I would like to burn on another dvd (for playing in a dvd player) The dvd shrink I have stops with an error message about 70% through. Is there a better software that I can use?

your disc is damaged, try cleaning it.
I like to use CLONE DVD 2 along with ANY DVD that program also repairs dvds.

there is a problem with your dvd. I dont really think it matters what program you use. Its just that your dvd drive cant read it.

It has nothing to do with the protection on the dvd, because the protection is taken care of at the begining of the process.
Also you have something on a dvd-r then the protection was already taken care of.

you should google dvdfab decrypter, then run it through with dvd shrink.
