DVD +R to -ROM, on a HP laptop?

    Hi!
I have a HP laptop with this burner: hp DVD A DS8A5LH 1H68 (ATAPI)

I tried to change the book type with ImgBurn, but it was not compatible

So.. Is there any way to burn a DVD +R to a DVD -ROM with that burner??

(making a video DVD that needs to be compatible with all players)

    Please help!
    Thanks

DVD+R I understand are playable on HP. But you should copy to computer and then burn on DVD -R since that is universal.
