DVD player quit working?
I have an older Zenith DVD plaer I use for my living room tv. It is a 5 disc changer and it is about 10 years old. It has never given a problem but now when I go to play a DVD it starts up and after about 10 minutes the DVD player freezes. The unit will not respond to the remote and even the power button on the unit does nothing, I have to unplug the power and then plug it back in then it will work for a little bit.
I got a suggestion that maybe since it has never been cleaned out inside it is possible that it is full of dust and the fan cannot properly cool the power supply causing it to overheat.
I just need some suggestions. With the prices of everything I cant really afford a new player.
