DVD player not working through car cigar lighter?
Ok, interesting one... my portable dvd player has stopped working though the car cigar socket (Audi A4 if it helps), it used to work fine upto recently. It works fine from the mains (through the 240/12v inverter it came with). I have changed the lead from the cigar lighter to the player. Tested the cigar lighter with other appliances and its fine.. and the new lead is fine also (powers other devices)... DVD still wont work.... any body seen this before? My only thought is the cigar lighter isn't able to deliver enough current but can't figure out why ?
