I just got my friends computer because she got a new one and I was very excited to know that it has a DVD burner, the first thing I did when I got her computer was burn a short clip I had saved on my computer. This burn was successful and I was very pleased with my new burner.

Ever since that one burn, I haven't been able to burn any DVDs at all, no matter what type of file they are and no matter how long the file(s) are or anything like that.

I think the burner is a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4160B SCSI CdRom Device or something but, I wasn't sure how to check.

When I try to burn DVDs, it goes through the hour or however long the burn WOULD take and then once the burning is done, I take the disc out and I can see on the bottom of the disc that it is still blank, then, just to be sure, I put it into my DVD player and it never loads because the disc is still blank. I tried the disc in two different DVD players and my computer so I know it is blank.

If anybody know how I can fix this problem I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance.
