DVD onto Computer onto MP3?

How do I get a DVD onto my computer, then make it so I can put it onto my MP3? (Like it has to be all one file, and needs to me in mp3 or mpeg format or something else)

Oh yeah, I'm not willing to download a ton of crap.
A couple small things, but I'm not gonna download five giant things.
