Thread: Computer wonot play DVD's it has the DVD logo on it. help.?

my computer has an icon of the DCD logo and CD logo. so it should play DVD's right? its not though. it will upload cd's but not DVD's. i put in a cd and it wont work. i have windows media player and a program called AVS video player. it will play videos, but not from DVD's. both programs and other programs like realplayer wont work. or zune software. i want to put videos on my new 80gb black microsoft zune. i need help with all of those questions please.

You need to get a DVD encoder. I would suggest K-lite mega codec pack. You can download it from http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/

Also make sure you get a program called Videolan it is an awesome video player.
