Thread: Can I take the data from a DVD on my son's computer and burn it onto a DVD on my

computer? I drag and dropped the data from a DVD my son loves onto the desktop of his computer so he could watch it there. It works great and starts right up on his computer without the actual DVD. Can I take that data, burn it onto a CD, put the data onto my computer and burn a DVD from that data and have it work in a DVD player again instead of just on the computer?
