Thread: Can I Play A Region 2 (UK) DVD On My Computer?

There is a DVD set I am interested in but it is only available in the PAL Region 2 format. Since I don't own a region-free DVD player, I was wondering if this DVD would be playable on my Windows PC. This set is quite expensive and I wouldn't want to purchase it only to find that it is not playable.

It will play, you get a pop up window asking if you want to change to region 2. However, you only get a few swaps before it gets stuck for ever on the last one you choose so be careful!
