Thread: Burning a PS2 game into DVD?

A method to fix a scratched CD is to burn it to a new disk. (so says eHow)

well i got everything I need but my blank CD's only hold almost 700MB. If i put it to a DVD will it still be able to play in the PS2 when completed? (must be a single CD/DVD)

be i get an awnser... so long i dont sell them i'm sure it perfectly legal to have 1 CD with burned info of a game.

ummmmmmm.
MOST ps2 game files are for a DVD-R. not a CD-R.

ISO files are for DVD-R
MDS/MDF files are for CD-R

if you burn the ISO to a 4.7GB DVD-R it will work.
if you burn the MDS/MDF to a 700MB CD-R it will work.
