I use to workout for an hour a day at the gym back at the end of 2010 early 2011 every morning around 10 or 11 am and I lost a lot of weight. I now work out at night around 11:30 at night doing my Zumba DVD workouts. I work up a really good sweat, but don't think I'm losing weight like I use to when i'd work out in the mornings. I don't know if working out during the day is better for losing weight than working out late at night.
