Thread: Anyone know a DVD region unlock code for the Phillips dvp3110k/75?

Been trying for ages to find one. If anyone knows, thankyou in advance.
Actually scrap that, just found the answer.
Here are the instructions:
1. Go to Setup and Preferences sub-menu.
2. On your remote press 138931.
3. A Hidden menu will come up. Press up arrow to reach region 0 (All Zones-Region Free)

4. Press OK.
5. Hah, region free DVD's. Amazon.com here I come.

Hi, I have a Phillips DVP 3110K, have gone into setup, but do not know what you mean by a preferences sub menu?

Make sure you do it without a dvd in the tray. Then in setup press right a couple of times and preferences will come up.

WOW! Thanks so much. Had this apparent all region player for about 2 years and today can play for our kids Alvin Chipmunks bought in Asia! + many more DVD's now.
