Thread: Why doesn't apple support avi/divx files?

The only reason keeping me from buying an ipad is that the absolute lack of support for video files other than mp4. I mean gimme a break, do they seriously believe that in would waste time converting files in this day and age? What in God's name can I do with the fab retina display then?? If I can't watch the movies I want in the format of want. Why does the apple company not support common video file extension? How do apple fanboys watch their movies an all??

Just another reason to go the Android route.

Because apple is rotten to the core.

Because Apple are just greedy b......s, they want EVERYTHING, hence they wont support anything they havent been paid enormous ridiculous amounts of money to do so. As previously mentioned, another reason to go the Android route
