Is there any way I can install DIVX Official Software on Ubuntu 9.10 using wine?

If so are there any guides available? I would also need to know how to get wine..

The reason i ask is because divx streaming does not cache more than 10 seconds of video and not being able to pause and buffer is not suitable for my needs.
