How do I burn multiple Xvid and Divx format files using iDVD?

I have lots of videos I made in xvid and divx avi containers. How do I get them into iDVD so I can burn them to work with a dvd player? I would like to put three or four on one dvd at a time. Most of the files are around 700 MB.
