I heard a lot of facts about vegetarians and I have a few questions about if it is really healthier. If we only eat plants wouldn't animal population grow out of wack and endanger many types of plants and animals?

Also they say meat causes disease, but look at the tomato scare a while back. It only came from animal waste, but that is a key component in growing plants. Without it there would be many less plants every year. So if you want plants you take a chance that those vegetables could kill you with salmonella.

Also cows emit methane which has been shown to destroy the ozone layer. Plants absorb these gases and help protect the environment. If we stopped eating cows then there would be a lot more methane. If we started eating plants then there would be a lot less plants to absorb the methane and save the world.

People say killing animals are wrong because there are living breathing things. Fruits and vegetables are living breathing things. They can absorb water and plant food. They also breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. So why is it ok to kill plants, but not animals? Killing is killing.
