Strawberry milkshakes without strawberries?

My friends and I are are going to make some milkshakes tomorrow and I don't think I'll have time to go get the strawberries. If i do, great. If I don't, can I use this imitation strawberry extract I apparently have? And if it's not pink, I have food coloring. haha.
