Does this recipe sound okay? I can't bake it because I have a group of younger children making and we just don't have the time. Otherwise though do the measurements and such sound okay?

Homemade Bread Stuffing

1 large loaf of white bread, dried (bread slices must be left to dry on the counter at least one day ahead)
¾ cup of chopped onion
1 cup of diced celery
1 cup of chopped mushrooms
½ cup (or 1 stick) of salted butter
2 14oz. cans of chicken broth
1 tbsp of poultry seasoning

½ tsp black pepper

Directions: Cut the slices of bread into 1-inch cubes and set aside. Chop the onion, celery, and mushrooms and set aside. Melt the butter in a large pan. Add the onion, celery, and mushrooms and sauté until soft. When the vegetables are soft add the broth, poultry seasoning and the pepper. Bring to a boil. After the liquid reaches a boil turn off the heat and the bread cubes. Stir gently to coat the bread. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes. Fluff the stuffing with a fork and serve.
