Hi, in my culinary class we have to yield 1 cup of each recipe from it's original servings.
So for example.. I have a recipe for Simmered Rice and the recipe yields 1 1/2 pt. and I need it to be 1 cup.

Simmered Rice Recipe:
Water 1 pt.
Salt 8 oz
White rice 8 oz
Recipe yields: 1 1/2 pts

Risotto Milanese
Chicken Stock 2 1/2 qt
Saffron threads 1/2 tsp
Hot Water 2 fl oz
Whole Butter 4 oz
Onions, minced 5 oz
Arborio rice 1 lb 8 oz
Dry white wine 8 fl oz
Parmesan, grated 4 oz
Recipe yields:24 servings (4oz each)

Rice Pilaf
Clarified Butter 1 fl oz
Olive oil 1 fl oz
Onion 3 oz
Bay leaf 1
Long grain rice 1 lb
Chicken stock 1 qt
Recipe yeilds: 3 lb
