if fish is frozen, and you thaw it is it safe to eat raw?

i am wondering if you can eat raw fish that had been frozen/never cooked. i know its healthier and i am assuming that freezing it kills any chance of getting sick from bacteria or whatnot?

I have never eaten fish before, let alone raw fish, I'm a vegetarian but considering going pescitarian. its 'wild alaskan salmon'. ty
