I need to make individual chicken pot pies for guests at a party.?
I was thinking about using cupcake/quiche trays, but I am worried they will fall apart when I go to remove them. I am looking for the easiest/quickest way to do this. I know I could just get individual aluminum pots and cook them that way, but there are going to be about 50 guests at the party, so that might be a bit difficult. Anyone have any suggestions?
Well, personally I don't think cupcake size will be big enough, unless it's just an appetizer type thing.
They do make tinfoil cupcake wrappers that will stand alone, so you don't need to worry about taking them out of a pan. I bought some at Wal Mart last month. I would put the crust only on the top.
maybe individual pre-made tart shells would work--try something new like open-faced, or a crumb topper! google them and you can order a case from food supply companies.
Well if you're not willing to buy the aluminum pans then you definitely won't be willing to buy 50 ramekins. Unless you've got enough small dishes lying around your house you're pretty much sol.
You can try just making a couple big batches and serve it rustic style.
