I have a verticle water smoker. Is it safe to cook a turkey and a ham at

the same time? Which meat goes on top? Should the turkey go on top (I worry about samonelia)? Does the ham go on top?

Not sure if you can cook 2 things at once but I would put the ham on top. It is already cooked and just needs to be heated really. Also any drippings that came from the ham would be good flavor for your turkey.

    So yes ham on top.
