    How long will white wine last in the refrigerator?

    Have a bottle of wine, it's been in the frig for about 3 months. Still good??

    I want to get a couple of answers before I go trying to drink it...=-O

    some people drink wine of 50 years old, i think your fine

    If it's already been opened, there is a finite amount of time where it will still be good. If it hasn't been opened yet, it should still be good .

    Wine lasts forever. Sometimes its better the older it is.

    It's fine. White wine lasts quite a while in the refrigerator. Although a white is best when it hasn't aged too much. When choosing a bottle of wine, you look for a young white and an old red.

    Red wines are similar to white wines, except that they leave the grape skins on when they ferment red wine (the color of the wine is the color from the skin, like tea). This skin has a lot of tannins in it, which give red wine its compexity. But, the tannins are bitter. If you leave a red to age, these tannins eventually mellow, making an older red superior to a younger one.

    Without the tannins in the white wine, the fresher taste of a young wine (recently bottled) is preferred.
