I drink way to much soda, and I'm trying to quit. I'm just really concerned about my growth, because I'm still a little kid, and , lately, I feel way shorter than I used to be. At the nd of last year, I was a good inch taller than one of my friends, but now she's actually taller than me!! So I tried Canada Dry ginger ale instead, but I was just wondering, could this still stunt my growth? oh and more info on how ginger ale is bad for me would be appreciated thanx!!!!!!

If you want to stunt your growth, paying some doctor to amputate your legs would work better than drinking soda.

where did you get the idea that drinking soda and ale will stunt growth? soda and ginger ale don't stunt growth! what may be happening to you is that you are getting fat from drinking way too much soda and thus making you feel shorter (and stouter). and your friend may just be growing faster or earlier than you do making her outgrow you. just wait for your turn to have your growth spurt and drink less sugary drinks. have more water instead.
