Id like to make something light and refreshing for an outside bbq and just picked up a bottle of chardonnay a few weeks ago. Any ideas?

traditional wine spritzer: chardonnay, soda water or sweeter use 7- up, dash sour mix garnish with lime. very classy

3/4 Chardonnay, 1/4 7Up (or your favorite clear soda) Fresh mint leaves.
Put the leaves in a glass and crush them up, pour in your liquids and there you have it!
(Or you can replace the mint with orange, lemon, or lime wedges.

white sangria. 1 bottle of white wine. 2 oz triple sec, or your favorite orange liquor, 2 oz your favorite brandy, 1 oz peach schnapps, cut up some citrus of your choice into wheels or wedges, lemon, lime, orange, throw in some marachino cherries or whatever other fruit you fancy, top with soda water.
