I did when I lived at home. She taught me enough to get by and cook for my self as needed. I'm grateful for her now in so many ways, since she passed on than I ever thought were possible.

i cook for my mom more than she cooks for me.
probably because i love cooking & she doesn't.
but when she does cook for me, i do appreciate it.

Absolutely. But not just because she is my mother. She is also an awesome cook. She clearly puts a lot of love and usually a lot of work in to the meals she prepares for friends and family. She's also entered baking and cooking contests and won awards and ribbons, so she's got the history to back it up.

I don't love every single dish she makes and I've even given her some cooking tips and new recipes, but no matter how much experience I get, how many fancy restaurants I am able to visit, or other country's cuisine.... I always appreciate my mother's home cooked meals and value the familiar flavors. Some of the recipes have passed through generations and I even appreciated my grandmother's cooking too.

yes I certainly do. and it also makes me a little worried because it seems that everybody loves their own mother's cooking, but what about when I'm a mom? will my kids enjoy my cooking as much as I enjoyed MY mothers? because i'm 28 and I really do not cook much of anything yet these days. ....yikes!

I'm 39 years old and I STILL go home and eat dinner at Mom and Dad's...she makes the BEST spaghetti in the world.

I appreciate Mom's cooking :>.

Of course! My mom and I are very close and I appreciate everything she does for me. She has cooked for me for 20 years. I am almost 21 and she is teaching me how to cook on my own, and it's not as easy as it seems.
