I was reading the little "People who cannot donate" section and I read something like "If you have ever had sex with a man, even once, since 1977." Why is this? Are they assuming all gay men have an STD or something? Isn't that discrimination? (I'm not including women since it didn't really specify that.)

This is the part that made me laugh out loud...
"have ever taken money, drugs or other payment for sex since 1977"
How the hell does this apply? It seems that prostitution may have been legal BEFORE 1977.
