Ok, so you know men that act like women or women that act like men, what is a sensible general term to call them???

I hear "your fellow human being" is a nice catch-all. You should try it.

I don't really agree with how you "describe" gay people, though. Thought I should make that very clear.

um.. men that act like women aren't necessarily gay, and women that act like men aren't neccessarily lesbians.

So if you want a word that sums up gays/lesbians it would be "homosexuals"

If you want a word that sums up women that act like men it would be tomboys.
