Okay so this is kinda confusing. I have this friend, and we've been best friends for many years. But when I came out as lesbian, her parents wouldn't let her see me at all anymore, because they thought if she hung out with me she would "turn lesbian." A few months after not seeing each other at all, I came out as an ftm transgendered guy, and now I can easily pass as a regular guy. But my friend's parents still won't let me see her. It doesn't make sense, because now if she hangs out with me and starts to like me it won't be considered a lesbian relationship, it would be considered straight..... Right? So why are her parents still worried about her "turning lesbian"? And no, they're not homophobes, but they say they just want their daughter to end up marrying a man instead of a woman. I know none of this makes sense but I'm just trying to figure out what I can do to convince my friend's parents that I can't "turn her lesbian" if she starts to like me?
