well she is hitting on you if she is making lots of eye contact (more then in usual conversation) touching you on the arm when talking etc..., just pretend she was a boy for a second and match some things up. Its the pretty much exact same as if a boy did it but probably a little more discrete and hard to read. also another thing is when people show an extraordinary interest in you, your likes, your dislikes, you job, your what ever. they are most likely hitting on you.

you'll know if she flirts with you. lesbians flirt the same way heterosexuals flirt, so it really shouldn't be difficult for you to detect.

Just talk about boys a lot to make it clear that you're straight and to see her reaction, so you know if she likes you or not. But if she does, than don't make a big deal about it. It's just as easy to turn down a gay person as a straight.
