Thread: Rational arguments against comparing gay marriage to polygamy?

anybody given this thought and have great rebuttles for this? i would like to read them. i hear this comparison and it infuriates me. gay people are often compared to religion or behaviors of all (negative) kinds. does anybody have really intelligent, rational arguments when they are faced with this?

and when i say gay people are compared to religion, i mean, my chrisitianity is 'who i am', or my political idelogy is 'who i am'. like how gay people say sexuality is 'who i am'. i hear this, and i just get so insulted by this. am i alone in this thinking?

you can't take away sexuality like one can beome agnostic at the drop of a hat. you follow? i hope.
no susan . i am not. i hear polygamists even argue in favor of gay marriage, because society too will then start allowing polygamy. i heat this and read this all the time.

religion has integrained intself into politics. it's impossible to seperate the two today. impossible.
people don;t see that. it is that simple. but others do not.
the majority does not see this.
