To Christians against gay marriage...?

Biblically, divorce is not acceptable.
Even for a woman that is raped, she must stay married to her rapist for the rest of her life.

However, divorce is legal, and according to some sources, Christians have the highest percentage of divorcees.

Why, exactly, are you alright with 25% of the nation being divorced, but you can't let the percentage of the gay community that wishes to express their love and gain financial rights of a married couple get their marriage license?
