Thread: LGBT: I need some serious advice regarding my lesbian crush, please help?

I met a wonderful lesbian recently. I am single lesbian and she just recently broke up with her girlfriend. I told her that I am attracted to her and she said she is also attracted to me in return !
I was so happy to hear that. but then she told me she is not ready for any commitment (relationship) now with anyone, I assume b/c of her recent break-up and she is now in college out of state.
She said she just want to be honest b/c she is out of state and she does not want to hurt me by trying to commit to a relationship if temptation does surface there.


would I be doing myself emotional harm if I continue to crush on her or wait for her?

also, I don't want to appear desperate, is it a good idea to let a few days go by without Instant messaging her just to chat or will it be ok to chat with her everyday (just as friends for now)?
in your opinion am I being lead on by her in any way?

Well, I'd give it a few day, really think it over. Then tell her that you've done a lot of thinking, and that she's right. It wouldn't be a good idea for you two to try and commit to each other right now. But also let her know that though you're not necessarily going to spend your days waiting on her, that you do like her, and that if you're both still single when she gets back, that you'd be interested in seeing where it goes.
