If a lesbian had a daughter, would the daughter also be a lesbian or at least bi?

Is it genetic or is it social or something different for women? I heard that most at least have bi tendencies but won't admit it.
If you think I'm trolling, move on. Only answers that actually answer the question.

I do know that but I wanted to know something specific.

Sorry but I never trust BBC. By the bi statement, I was talking about that fluidity model but that's not what I meant. Is it affected by genetics?

Best "answer" so far but don't know if it's true or not. Gonna look it up. As for the choice thing, most people aren't able to choose who they are attracted to. Some can control their emotions but that's very few.

I recall someone proved that some of the gay tendencies in women are caused by hormones, and there is a specific treatment parents can now give to their daughters to prevent them from becoming a lesbian. However, I also think some of it is about social interactions as well. So, to answer your question, I believe a lesbian's daughter would have a higher chance to become lesbian than a straight woman's daughter, but it ultimately depends upon what sort of person she chooses to become.

It's up to the daughter when they are older, they tend to think its fine to be with women(which it is), so some tend to be bi or lesbian because of being brought up in an all womens home, Children also need men in life if the childs not exposed to males they tend to become shy etc.

So exposing to both sex's is proberly right for the child but its up to them though.

who knows a parents sexuality has NO EFFECT on a childs sexuality. if it did straight couples wouldnt be having gay children. genetics can indicate a predisposition for it but genetics alone dont determine it. also women feel more fre to explore sexuality because there is not the stigma associated with gay men. either way gay parents dont make children gay or bi. if it worked like that i'd be straight since my parents both are obviously

it may be congenital-meaning from birth, but it is not necessarily genetic.
Even if it is the child has a father, and his genetics would be figured into the mix as well.
    so, no not necessarily
    Bigotry is bad for you.
