I should care if homos get married? PLease tell me you have better reasons than marrying horses or adopting children

They can get married the government just doesn't recognize it. Gays have the exact same rights that everyone else does. If they want a union with someone of the opposite sex they can get married. If they want a union with someone of the same sex they can get a civil union which the government does recognize!

The primary reason for marriage is to promote procreation, lets face it the government needs a steady supply of tax payers, and to provide a good environment for the raising of children. As soon as same sex couples can procreat naturally and without outside help they should be allowed to marry.

The goal they have is to be looked at as a minority. Then if one wants to rent your house and you don't rent off to court to prove the reason you didn't rent to him was because he was a fag. Then the same will hold true if you don't hire and or promote them in the work place.

I get the stance. It seems like you shouldn't care. But we must be careful if we begin to accept abnormal sexual deviancy.
If your argument is "they're born that way, let them be," do we also assume murders and pedophiles are born that way?
I know the animal example is far fetched. But what about brother/sister, or dad/daughter? Should we allow them to marry?

We must keep certain moral standards to keep a functioning society. History has shown this.
