How would jesus respond?
Jesus loves everyone, so he would love them, too! He would not be afraid to touch them or treat them in a mean way or as as if they had a pox. He would want them to become more like Him and His Father and to be with them in heaven forever.
Jesus never said one thing, one way or the other.
However, we know how he felt about prostitutes when he told the woman at the Well, "go, and sin no more."
As a gay man, I know that he dislikes my lifestyle, however he does love me. Its not that he dislikes gays, but that our lifestyles can lead to lots of pain.
"WHOSOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"
Jesus loves them just like He loves everyone else. As He told the woman caught in adultery , He forgave her for her sins and told her to go and sin no more
The same way he feels about all of us. Being gay is a sin, and God abhors it, but all sins are equal in the eyes of God. So, this equates stealing a cell phone to being gay. This may sound silly because we don't see it that way but God does.
At the time Jesus would have been against homosexuality because of his Jewish upbringing.
If he lived today in modern Western society, I'll bet he'd be all for homosexuality.
He would love them. Jesus doesn't judge.
