Gays Only: How many of you guys exhibited gender nonconfomist behavior as children?
I found this interesting, I'm gay and I showed gender nonconformist behavior when I was a child. I liked Barbie, playing with my play kitchen, playing dress up, etc. Anyways, over 75% of people who were gender nonconformists as children turn out to be gay. Scientists don't know for sure what causes gender nonconformity, but it may provide the basis that being gay is inborn. One theory is that children who are gender noncomists associate with the opposite sex instead of their own gender, and later on they develop an attraction to the same sex as a result. But whatever it is, you can't prevent a child from being a gender noncomists, since it just comes naturally to them, as it did for me.
