Possibly, we wouldn't mind though, apparently we aren't as bothered as the americans. Would you be suggesting that the 'bandwagon' mentality would see more people becoming gay because others were?
Gay marriage is NOT legal here in Britain. Gay couples can have a ceremony forming an official "Civil Partnership" which includes certain legal rights, but it is not a marriage and is not to be considered as such. Heterosexual marriage still has much more recognition in law.
