I'm just as gay as I am black. And I'm proud in both aspects. THREE states have legalized gay marriage since Prop 8 passed and as a gay man, I'm happy to hear that our country is slowly but surely progressing towards a nationwide acceptance of homosexuality. However, as a black man, I'm still really pissed at how my fellow LGBT folks responded with pure racism when it was revealed that 70% of blacks in Cali voted for Prop 8. Come on now. We have a black president and more states are allowing gay marriage. Instead of putting each other down, why don't we be proud?
