Thread: Does viewing yaoi/yuri anime/manga affect a person's sexuality?

If a guy watches yaoi, or if a girl watches yuri, does it make him/her a homosexual?

I need some opinion guys. This would help me a lot in my research paper. I would appreciate it if a psychologist would answer this question (well, using psychological approach/es, proving his/her answer scientifically [hehe..]) You could include your name and occupation/title so that I could include you in the acknowledgment. No, there are other ways for a person to turn bi then gay. Maybe the yaoi and yuri, but it doesn't necessarily guarantee that that person will turn homo.

well i don't know about the others, but i think i'm weird. why? i read mostly yaoi and yuri once. i love yaoi but can't stand to see real homos and i hate yuri(maybe because its my own sex) and even more so in real life. so no it hasn't influenced me that way, i'm still straight.
