...of the gay support groups? It just seems to me that we should be farther ahead in all the issues that we hold dear to us ie marriage, domestic partnership, right to work, hate crimes etc. I do not feel that the heads of organizations that are lobbying congress and the senate are really doing that good of a job. Do you think that a grass roots internet blog and emailing group would give us the necessary political clout that we need?.
For example, the minister that is going to be giving an invocation at the inaugural party is anti gay but yet there is an ordained bishop of the American Episcopal Church that is not asked. Where is the loyalty and why are we not yelling up a storm. Why are our political organizations not raising hell.?
Why are we not taking this very basic human rights issue to the Supreme Court?
