It depends on how you view "virgin"... male homosexuals would lose their virginity, however females might not... it's subjective.

The ones I've known have tried both sides, so not always will a homosexual always be homosexual, it's merely their preference sexually... and emotions can influence them in other ways

Virginity is a word that basically means something different to everyone. I'm a lesbian, but I consider what I've done with girlfriends in the past as sex. Sure there isn't a penis involved, but I still view it as sex because of the intimacy involved.

Well I agree, sex is based on a certain intimacy level, whether it counts as the lose of virginity is truthfully up to the people involved when it comes to homesexuality However, your typical straight-sex "going all the way" will always be considered losing your virginity.
