My friend started telling me about her new (not so new anymore...) neighbor about 3 years ago--how awesome he was and what not. I said it'd be cool if I met him sometime. She said he wanted to meet as well.. Then she said, "Then again, you probably wouldn't like him very much." So I never got introduced.
A few days ago, I was partaking in a surprise birthday party for said friend. Everyone was there (all 3 of us), waiting for our friend, when, this cute guy came in. I knew immediately that it was my friend's neighbor--because being the Seventh-Day Adventists that we are, we share ALL the same friends/acquaintances, and I had never seen this guy before.
I was sort of dazed. I smiled, said "hi", and then continued to fervently look for the lyrics to "Shut up and Let Me Go" on my iPhone...like a douche.
Friend walks in, Surprise! She saw our car in the driveway....
Hugs all around, and then her not-so-new neighbor opens his mouth, and all I can think is "GAY".
Then he left. 'Cause he had to go eat dinner.
Earlier (much much earlier. Like, 3 years earlier), my friend had told me that he had told her that everyone at school thinks he's gay.
She continued to tell him that, "don't worry, you're not".
(Don't say that D*!)
(oh, he's Mormon by the way).
So.
I was just wondering.
Do Mormons (males) often come across as homosexual? They're so nice and sweet all the time.
'Cause I really hope he's gay and not just Mormon,
even though there comes major issues with being gay and Mormon...
anyway,
I digress.
What do you guys think?
Thanks! (for reading this...epistle..)
*My Friend.
