Christians, do you agree gays should have separate but equal civil unions?

I am against gay marriage, but I think gays should have the same rights.

I think they should have separate but equal civil unions.

    What do you think?
If not, what do you think about gay marriage?
Edit: God is documented in the Bible as creating one woman for one man.

Edit: If separate but equal is unconstituitional than why do many states have civil unions as an alternative for gays who want to get married but can't in that state?

    It's separat BUT equal.

I'm with you. I think being gay is a sin, but its a free country and Christianity is not a state mandated religion. They should have equal rights. Though I'm not sure it needs to be "separate".

Because that worked out so well before.

Oh wait, the Supreme Court ruled that "separate but equal" was unconstitutional.

"Marriage is a social, religious, spiritual, or legal union of individuals." As stated by Wikipedia.

A civil union is marriage, technically.

    Anyway, separate but equal fails.
