you will always have homophobs wherever you go but its not terribly bad here

canada has the strictest hate speech laws. you can expect far more "tolerance" there than in the U.S.

Just wondering if anyone is gay and from Canada and can share their opinion on what's it like/do people mind homosexuality anymore/is there still lots of discrimination, etc. Thanks.

You can get married, adopt, and you can't get fired for your sexual orientation.
Most people I know have no problem with homosexuality. But hey, there's ignorant assholes everywhere. But homosexuality is at LEAST tolerated by most people here. I'm sure it's better than in the US.

Hi, I am from Canada and, like most Canadians, am a flaming homosexual. It is really hard dealing with the h8ers, they beat up my boyfriend really bad. My reccomendation is dont be gay.
