Thread: Are all Humans born innately bisexual?

Are all humans born bisexual? Then to be made to make a choice depending on their stronger leanings?
Freud thought to when is research into homosexuality revealed that every heterosexual subject reacted positively (even in some small way ) to homoerotic stimulus. However the heterosexual subjects had no notion of arousal, but their neural readings said otherwise...so it must be latent and subconscious.

Bisexuality and homosexuality is observed in the animal kingdom, especially in our close genetic cousins. Showing that such behaviour is genetic, which is proven through genetic research of openly bisexual or homosexual people. What however is interesting, is that they have no identity culture - so a choice is not imposed upon them.

The arguement about upbringing and environment is flawed, becuase why in a pair of twins (non identical) who have been raised in the same way - has one turned out gay while the other became straight?

i think all humans are born neutral with no sexuality at all and its our upbringing and environment that shapes our sexuality

People are not born bisexual, they choose to be bisexual. Homosexuality and heterosexuality are both innate.

no i dont think so. as the guy above said new research shows that sexuality is determined in the womb. its all on the bbc health website.

hey, u stole my theory!! I thought that a few years ago, just a thought tho, but earlier this year, evidence that our sexuality is determined while we're in the womb was presented. It consisted of brain scans showing that gay men have similar brain patterns to straight women, and gay women have similar brain patterns to straight men, so I believe it's determined fundsmentally in a mother's womb, maybe due to hormone levels.
