Just curious... I see so many names on here stemming and copying the Hollywood trends in baby naming. Such a Shiloh and Suri. Do you seriously like these names? Or is this something that is cool for the moment? I like unique names, myself. Just not over-the-top. And seriously, before I heard these stars naming their children these names, they would have never entered my mind. Now that I hear them... I still wonder why they named them this and where on earth they came up with them. But I do not think I would used them based on the trend factor.

What are your feelings on these types of names? Would you used them for your child? If so... why?

shiloh is a name just wasnt popular and i think most people associate it with the story of the dog shiloh so probably why most feel wierd about this name

suri is an arabic (something like that) that means princess so i guess thats a fair name as well if you like names from other cultures

im personally not too fond of either but not my kid
and yes most celebs go over the top with names i guess they think thier special or something .. as if thier kid wouldnt already stand out being the child of a celeb but w/e....
example .. apple ...that it a horrible name!!! i cant believe anyone could really find this a good name .. weather a celeb or not its just a bad choice............ lulu trixie bell .. like come you kind isnt a cartoon chahracter lol

some names are cute like britneys son jayden cute name (although it sounds alittle girly to me ..probably b/c of jade and i knew a jaden growing up) but overly popular now like aiden and so on... so i guess they all dont have horrible judgement!

I really don't like the trend for copying celebrity baby names - sure if Angelina Jolie wants to name her baby Shiloh go for it - but nobody on here can honestly claim they wouldn't have wanted to name their daughter Shiloh if it wasn't for her! Original and unique names are great - but copying a celebrity baby name isn't either of those things!

I love Shiloh and Suri but i've liked them for years. Way before these celebs named their kids that. I wouldn't name my kids that though.

Well I love Shiloh and was considering it, but I also like Miloh for a girl and would choose that over Shiloh to keep people from thinking I copied Angelina.

Larry King named his nice kids Chance and Cannon!
Madonna named her children Lourdes and Rocco?
I don't find Apple so bad! It reminds me of the saying, "the apple of my eye" I say it is all subjective...I only hope that these parents do not end up regretting their choices...that would suck
