Do you think celebrities lie about who they're going to vote for?
Sometimes I wonder if Hollywood is as "liberal" as it seems.
I mean, think about it. It's easy for someone to say one thing to boost public image (example: supporting Obama/democrat shows you care about the "little people") and do what they want when it comes to a secret ballot.
Also, it wouldn't make sense for most to vote liberal due to their wealth. Or maybe they have enough money already or feel a social/economical obligation to give back, so it doesn't matter.
I personally don't think that celebrities should make endorsements.
