Every time that I hear of a celebrity getting special treatment, I get really upset. I think that people who are doing something meaningful, like helping the starving children in Africa or fighting in Iraq deserve better treatment. Am I the only one who feels this way?

No your not the only one who feels that way.It's our own fault we buy the magazines, the CD's The movies. WE all get caught up in their personal lives. People need to stop putting them on a pedestal. I mean I know for a fact that if you and lets say Angelina Jolie walked into the ER at any hospital at the same time, She would be seen right away. They would say it's for Security reasons. Meanwhile 3 hours later your name is finally called. They are treated special because of who they are, because of what we made them.

The best way to change it is to not pay attention to celebrities. The reason things are the way they are is because it is what interests people. It's a free market and a free society and all things tend to reflect supply and demand.
